New Construction

New construction insulation that passes the first time

For builders and remodelers who need the insulation phase done right, on the day it was scheduled, with the inspection signed off.

For builders

Code compliant, inspection ready, no callbacks

Oregon residential code requires R-49 ceilings, R-21 walls and R-30 floors in most of the metro, and inspectors are checking. We install to the plan, photograph every cavity before drywall, and are there for the insulation inspection. Custom homes, additions, ADUs and full remodels, one house or a whole phase.

  • Batts, blown in and spray foam from one crew
  • ADU and addition packages
  • Vaulted and cathedral ceiling solutions
  • Volume pricing for builders with repeat plans

How it works

Four steps from call to warm

  1. Call or send the form

Tell us the city, the age of the house and what you have noticed. We will tell you on the phone whether it is worth a visit.

  2. We measure, not guess

We get in the attic or crawl space, check the depth, the air leaks, the venting and the wiring, and photograph it for you.

  3. One written price

Square footage, R-value, materials, air sealing and the rebate you qualify for, all on one page. Good for 30 days.

  4. Install and clean up

Most attics are done in a day. We lay drop cloths, blow it in, bring you up to see the depth markers, and leave the house cleaner than we found it.

Questions

New Construction questions

More on the FAQ page or call (503) 555-0142.

How much lead time do you need?

A week is comfortable. We can often move faster for repeat builders.

Do you do ADUs?

Yes. ADUs are a large part of our new construction work in Portland and we know the code requirements for them.

Can you provide the insulation certificate?

Yes, the completed insulation certificate for the electrical panel is part of the job.

Do you work with remodelers?

Yes. Partial insulation on a remodel is common and we price it by the area opened up.
